Romanian buyers have been evaluating the rebar offers in order to make their new purchases this week. In the meantime, the local demand remains moderate.

Offers are mainly coming from neighboring countries. In particular, Hungary and Bulgaria are in the market with €445/mt and €457/mt CPT Cluj for December deliveries. The rebar price from Italy for the Romanian market has been at €455/mt CPT Cluj, SteelOrbis has learned.

Local prices for rebar in Romania are reported at around €440/mt delivered to customer, excluding 19 percent VAT. Moreover, ex-Turkey current rebar offers are available at $510-520/mt FOB or around €440-450/mt CFR for end-January shipments.
