International demand for Greek rebar has increased further during the past week and is currently strong. Market sources state that Greek rebar is mostly receiving demand from the Middle East and the US. It is observed that Greek rebar producers have increased their export prices by €10/mt week on week to €500-510/mt ($580-592/mt) FOB. Considering the strong international demand for Greek rebar as buyers seek to complete their inventories ahead of the summer holidays in Europe, Greek rebar export offers are expected to increase further in the short term.
