Brazilian producers remain negotiating rebars for export at $590/mt, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, a reference price stable for the second week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.
In June, Brazil exported 40,600mt of rebars, at an average FOB price of $582/mt, with price deals probably closed in April.

The volume was entirely shipped to South American countries and include different quality grades. Some of the South American clients include companies associated with the steel producers, with prices not necessarily linked to market conditions.

The main exporters were ArcelorMittal (25,000mt) and Gerdau (15,000mt), while smaller tonnages were shipped by Sitrel.
