Brazilian producers are negotiating rebar for export at $580/mt, FOB conditions, a local exporter told SteelOrbis. The price, referred to the CA-50 grade, is stable from last week.

In April, Brazil exported 54,300 mt of rebar, of which 28,800 mt by ArcelorMittal at $561/mt, 23,800 mt by Gerdau at $582/mt, and 1,700 mt by Votorantim at $588/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in February 2018. The volume was all destined to South American countries.
