Brazilian producers remain negotiating rebar for export at $590/mt, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, a reference price stable for the third week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

In June, ArcelorMittal exported 25,000 mt of rebar at $575/mt, while Gerdau exported 15,000 mt at $592/mt, both FOB conditions with price deals probably closed in April.

Sitrel, located in the central-western state of Mato Grosso do Sul, shipped 400 mt at $625/mt FOB to Paraguay.

The June export volume was entirely shipped to South American countries and include different quality grades. Some of the South American clients include companies associated with the steel producers, with prices not necessarily linked to market conditions.
