Rebar export price remains stable in Brazil

Brazilian producers are negotiating rebar for export at $580/mt, FOB conditions, a local exporter told SteelOrbis. The price, referred to the CA-50 grade, is stable over two weeks.

In April, Brazil exported 54,300 mt of rebar, of which 23,400 mt to Peru at $563/mt; 15,900 mt to Bolivia at $556/mt; 5,300 mt to Colombia at $588/mt; 5,100 mt to Paraguay at $583/mt; 4,400 mt to Argentina at $636/mt; and 200 mt to Uruguay at $612/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in February 2018.
