The local Turkish rebar market had made a quiet start to the current week, while trading activity in the market is still at low levels with buyers continuing to postpone their rebar purchases. Traders in Turkey have reduced their domestic rebar prices by TRY 10-15/mt compared to price levels recorded on March 13 due to the weakness of demand as well as the strengthening of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.
