Price stable for Brazilian rebars exports

Brazilian producers continue to negotiate rebars for export to South American countries at a price of $540/mt, unchanged for the past three weeks, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, a local market source told SteelOrbis.

In June, Brazil exported 55,400mt of rebars at $576/mt, FOB conditions, different quality grades and price deals probably closed in April.

South American countries were the main destination (42,800mt at $563/mt), followed by Switzerland (6,500mt at $635/mt) and the US (6,100mt at $609/mt).

ArcelorMittal exported 40,300mt of rebars at $608/mt, while Gerdau exported 15,100mt at $493/mt).
