Brazilian producers remain negotiating rebar for export in a range of $570/mt to $590/mt, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, the same reference price for the fourth week in a row, a local source told SteelOrbis.

In August, ArcelorMittal exported 32,800 mt of rebar from Brazil, in average at $572/mt, while Gerdau exported 10,100 mt at $564/mt, both FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in June. The volume was almost entirely shipped to South American countries.
