Brazilian producers remain negotiating rebar for export in a range of $570/mt to $590/mt, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, the same reference for three weeks, a local source told SteelOrbis.

In August, Brazil exported 43,600 mt of rebar, in average at $572/mt, FOB conditions. The volume was almost entirely shipped to South American countries, except for 2,000 mt shipped to Jamaica at $513/mt FOB. The main exporters were ArcelorMittal (32,800 mt at $572/mt) and Gerdau (10,100 mt at $564/mt), both FOB conditions.
