Brazilian producers are negotiating rebar for export to South American countries at $540/mt, against a range of $540/mt to $550/mt last week, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, a local market source told SteelOrbis.

Brazilian producers of rebar remain focused on export markets, due to the reduced local demand from the housing sector.
