Effective with shipments February 1, 2010, Nucor-Yamato's Raw Materials Surcharge (RMS) for structural products will be $308/nt ($15.40 cwt. or $340/mt). This reflects an increase of $65/nt ($3.25 cwt. or $72/mt) from the January 1 RMS.
The company will leave base prices unchanged, resulting in the net effect of a $65/nt ($3.25 cwt. or $72/mt) increase in transaction pricing.
Fuel charges effective February 1 will be 23 percent for truck and 14.5 percent for rail.
