Mexico’s domestic rebar prices move up in dollar terms

In early July, SteelOrbis reported rebar prices in Mexico’s domestic market at approximately MXN 10,200-10,500/mt ($557-573/mt) ex-warehouse. According to a source, price increases on domestic rebar prices were expected soon.

According to sources prices are presently at MXN 10,300-10,600/mt ($580-$597/mt) ex-warehouse. While the peso price is generally stable with only a slight variance, the price in dollar terms has increased $23-24/mt on currency fluctuations.
