Local wire rod prices weaken in Turkey

Domestic wire rod prices in Turkey have moved down by $5/mt over the past week in all regions due to low demand and still mainly negative expectations in the import scrap segment. At present, most mills are offering wire rod for February deliveries, with some producers selling from their stocks.

Currently, the local offers for 6-7 mm mesh quality wire rod are as follows:
