Local wire rod prices stable in Turkey

Domestic wire rod prices in Turkey have moved sideways over the past two weeks. Currently, business activity in the segment is on hold as buyers are waiting to see a clearer market picture in scrap imports. Most Turkish steel mills are at present offering wire rod for late January-February deliveries, SteelOrbis understands.

Currently, local offers for 6-7 mm mesh quality wire rod are as follows:
