SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $500/mt ex-works, while offers from the same producer for 20 MnB4 grade wire rod are at $605/mt ex-works, both delivered to Izmir, excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments.
On the other hand, the producer’s offers are at $510/mt ex-works for 5.5-16 mm wire rod and at $615/mt ex-works for 20 MnB4 grade wire rod, both delivered to customers in Istanbul, excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments.
The offers in question are $20/mt higher than the producer’s previous list prices announced on December 4.
