It is reported that the local United Arab Emirates (UAE) rebar market is waiting for the announcement by Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) of its new rebar list prices, while domestic rebar prices in the UAE have remained unchanged over the past month at AED 2,050-2,070/mt ($559-564/mt) delivered to customer. Despite the slight fall seen in demand in the local UAE rebar market, demand is still at good levels and regular purchases in the market continue to be concluded.
