Local Turkish wire rod prices rise slightly, supply limited

Today, December 2, Turkish mills have mostly increased their domestic wire rod prices by $5-10/mt compared to Friday, November 27, due to limited availability in the local market. In addition, most mills are offering material for late March delivery. In the Iskenderun region in particular, one local mill has stopped quoting wire rod prices, which has supported the increase of wire rod prices in the region.

Most buyers are refraining from new purchases due to the unclear financial environment and continue buying just in line with their daily needs.
