The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on buyers and order sizes.

Demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has declined slightly this week ahead of the referendum to be held on April 16, while buyers are continuing their wire rod purchases only in line with their needs.

On the other hand, Turkish wire rod producers' orders books for April and May are fairly full, and so tightness of supply is providing support for current prices. Despite the weakness of demand, domestic wire rod quotations have also been supported by the sideways movement of domestic and import billet prices and so they have remained unchanged over the past week.
