Local Turkish wire rod prices move sideways

SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources that local producers' price levels in the Turkish domestic market for 6-7 mm mesh quality wire rod are as follows:

The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on buyers and order sizes.
 
After indicating a strong trend for two weeks, demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has declined slightly over the past week. However, with prices in import scrap deals remaining stable, there has been no change in Turkish steel producers' production costs, allowing them to keep their domestic wire rod quotations stable week on week.
