Buyers in the local Turkish wire rod market have maintained a cautious stance as regards concluding new purchases amid the political and economic uncertainties in Turkey and due to the ongoing harsh winter weather conditions, and so demand has remained at very low levels. However, given the lack of a decrease in their production costs, Turkish steel producers have kept their domestic wire rod quotations stable during the past week despite the weakness of demand.
