Domestic wire rod prices in Turkey have declined in line with the expectations of a fall in quotations which surfaced after the decrease seen in import scrap and billet prices in Turkey. Market sources state that, in addition to lower raw material quotations, the downtrend of domestic wire rod prices in Turkey has been due to the weakness of demand.
