Today, June 5, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 30-70/mt ($3-9/mt) to TRY 3,340-3,400/mt ($418-426/mt) ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Local mill Icdas closed its rebar sales at noon today at TRY 3,310/mt ($414/mt) ex-works, after selling approximately 10,000 mt, according to sources. Other mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 3,355-3,395/mt ($420-425/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 45-69/mt ($5-8/mt) today.
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has kept its rebar price at TRY 3,350/mt ($419/mt) ex-works. Another mill in the Izmir region has increased its rebar price by TRY 20/mt ($2/mt) to TRY 3,330/mt ($417/mt) ex-works. Sources report that approximately 20,000 mt of rebar have been traded in the Izmir region at TRY 3,330/mt ($417/mt) ex-works.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug A.S. has closed its rebar sales. Koc Metalurji has opened its 12 mm rebar sales at TRY 3,430/mt ($429/mt) ex-works as of today.
