Today, July 7, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have risen by TRY 350-600/mt ($17-28/mt) amid the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment and currency fluctuations. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 14,400-14,550/mt or $707-715/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions are offering rebar at $720-730/mt ex-works today.
