Today, July 13, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have risen by TRY 150-200/mt, with minor changes on US dollar basis, in order to offset currency fluctuations. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 14,550-14,700/mt or $707-714/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions have kept their official rebar prices at $720-730/mt ex-works today. They are expected to revise their rebar prices by the beginning of next week.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt Metallurgy has opened its rebar price at TRY 15,200/mt ($738/mt) ex-works today.
