Rebar spot prices in Turkey have mostly moved up slightly today, October 30, as Turkish buyers are back from the national holiday. Market sources state that local rebar prices have decreased in Turkey’s Iskenderun region due to low trading activity.
Today, October 30, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 8/mt ($3/mt) to TRY 2,449/mt ($427/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has announced its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,458/mt ($428 mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT. Meanwhile, market sources report that Turkish rebar mills are offering discounts of TRY 20-40/mt (including VAT) for serious buyers.
