Today, June 9, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 20-30/mt ($2-3/mt) to TRY 3,400-3,450/mt ($425-431/mt) ex-warehouse.
Turkish mill Icdas has kept its rebar price at TRY 3,400/mt ($425/mt) ex-works, with just a minor change on US dollar basis. Other mills in the Marmara region have increased their rebar prices by TRY 25/mt ($2/mt) on average to TRY 3,430-3,450/mt ($428-431/mt) ex-works.
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has increased its rebar price by TRY 20/mt ($1/mt) today to TRY 3,420/mt ($427/mt) ex-works. Another mill in the Izmir region is also offering at the same price. Sources report that approximately 20,000 mt of rebar have been traded in the Izmir region at close to TRY 3,400/mt ($425/mt) ex-works in the last two days.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug A.S. and Koc Metalurji have closed their rebar sales for now.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. is currently offering 12 mm rebar at TRY 3,420 ($427/mt) ex-works.
