Local Turkish rebar spot prices increase slightly

Due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar, rebar spot prices in Turkey have increased slightly.

However, today, August 26, Turkish mill Icdas has reduced its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 34/mt to 2,593/mt ($447/mt) ex-works due to the weakness of demand, while Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices unchanged at TRY 2,627/mt ($453/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
