Local Turkish rebar spot prices increase slightly

Due to the weakness of demand as well as the changes recorded in the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate, domestic rebar prices in Turkey have increased slightly today, July 22. SteelOrbis has been informed that discounts on list prices for serious buyers are available in the local Turkish rebar market.

Today, July 22, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik has increased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 17/mt to TRY 2,669/mt ($470/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has raised its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 20/mt to TRY 2,700/mt ($475/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
