Local Turkish rebar spot prices increase in local currency

Today, November 24, rebar spot prices in Turkey have risen by TRY 80-150/mt, with minor changes on US dollar basis, to offset currency fluctuations. As of today, 12 mm rebar spot prices have settled within the range of TRY 4,730-4,780/mt or $504-509/mt, ex-warehouse depending on the region.

Most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 4,800-4,885/mt ex-works ($511-520/mt) ex-works.

In the Iskenderun region, Bastug A.S. has closed its rebar sales as of today.

Samsun-based Yesilyurt has announced its rebar sales at TRY 4,820/mt ($513/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 120/mt in the local currency, while remaining unchanged on US dollar basis.

All prices are ex-warehouse and on actual weight basis. Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while prices on US dollar basis exclude VAT.
