Rebar spot prices in Turkey have moved up today, November 1 due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. Today, November 1, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 17/mt ($3/mt) to TRY 2,466/mt ($430/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,432/mt ($424 mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT. Meanwhile, market sources report that Turkish rebar mills are offering discounts of TRY 20-40/mt including VAT for serious buyers.
