Today, November 4, rebar spot prices have moved sideways in Turkey’s İskenderun and Marmara regions, though they have declined in the Izmir and Karabuk regions due to the weakness of trading activity.
On the other hand, today, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 17/mt to TRY 2,449/mt ($430/mt) ex-works, though prices on US dollar basis have moved sideways due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate. Meanwhile, Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,432/mt ($427 mt) ex-works. Both prices in question exclude VAT. Additionally, market sources report that Turkish rebar mills are offering discounts of TRY 20-40/mt including VAT for serious buyers.
