Local Turkish rebar spot prices follow diverse trends

Due to the weakness of demand in the local Turkish rebar market as well as lower import scrap quotations, Turkish traders in Marmara and Karabuk regions have reduced their domestic rebar prices today, September 10, while traders in İskenderun and İzmir regions have kept their prices unchanged.

Today, Turkish mills Icdas and İzmir Demir Çelik have kept their 12-32 mm rebar prices stable at TRY 2,500/mt ($/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
