Local Turkish rebar spot prices fall slightly again

Following the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar, domestic rebar prices in Turkey have continued their slight downtrend today, July 31.

Today, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 25/mt to TRY 2,601/mt ($470/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has reduced its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 40/mt to TRY 2,620/mt ($474/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
