Today, July 13, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 10-40/mt ($1-5/mt) compared to the end of last week. The general price range in Turkey is now at TRY 3,400-3,430/mt ($419-423/mt) ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Icdas has increased its rebar price by TRY 40/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 3,440/mt ($425/mt) ex-works. Most of the Marmara region-based mills have set their prices at TRY 3,440-3,470/mt ($425-428/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 20/mt on the higher end and with just minor changes on US dollar basis.
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has kept its rebar prices at TRY 3,450/mt ($426/mt) ex-works today. Sources report 1,000-5,000 mt of rebar have been traded at around TRY 3,400/mt ($420/mt) ex-works in the Izmir region today.
In the Iskenderun region, most mills have not opened their rebar sales as they are busy with export loadings and deliveries of previous orders, sources have stated. Last week, around 10,000 mt of rebar were traded at TRY 3,400/mt ex-works in the region.
