Domestic rebar prices in Turkey have decreased today, October 23, due to the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. Today, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,475/mt ($428/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik’s 12-32 mm rebar prices have moved sideways at TRY 2,457/mt ($425 mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
Market resources indicate that discounts of TRY 20-40/mt are available for serious buyers.
