Local Turkish rebar spot prices decrease slightly

Due to the weakness of demand in the local Turkish rebar market, contributed by lower import scrap quotations, Turkish traders have reduced their domestic rebar prices today, September 9.

Meantime, today, Turkish mill Icdas has reduced its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 25/mt to TRY 2,500/mt ($436/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has kept t its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,500/mt ($436/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
