While demand in the local Turkish rebar market is still at low levels, domestic rebar prices in Turkey have been revised downwards today, July 25, after the Central Bank of Turkey’s decision to cut the interest rate to 19.75 percent. SteelOrbis has been informed that buyers are reluctant to conclude new purchases.
Today, July 25, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices stable at TRY 2,695/mt ($473/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has also kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices unchanged at RMB 2,720/mt ($476/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
