Domestic rebar prices in Turkey have decreased today, October 18, due to the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.
Today, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices further by TRY 68/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 2,424/mt ($419/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has also decreased its price by TRY 42/mt (no change on US dollar basis) for 12-32 mm rebar to TRY 2,458/mt ($425 mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
