Today, September 25, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased by TRY 20-70/mt ($1-7/mt) to offset currency fluctuations and amid weaker scrap prices. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar prices in the overall local Turkish spot market have settled at TRY 4,020-4,090/mt ($447-455/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Today, Icdas has cut its official rebar price in the local currency by TRY 100/mt to TRY 4,090/mt ($455/mt) ex-works, with its dollar-based price down $3/mt on the same day from $458/mt ex-works this morning. Another mill in this region is currently offering rebar at TRY 4,110/mt ($457/mt) ex-works.
In the Izmir region, Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) is offering rebar at TRY 4,080/mt ($454/mt) ex-works.
In the Iskenderun region, Koc Metallurgy has opened its rebar sales at TRY 4,100/mt ($456/mt) ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan has opened its rebar sales at TRY 4,080/mt ($454/mt) ex-works, down by TRY 20/mt ($1/mt) today.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has also decreased its rebar prices, by TRY 50/mt ($4/mt), to TRY 4,150/mt ($462/mt) ex-works.
