Local Turkish rebar spot prices decrease except in Marmara region

Today, November 22, rebar spot prices in Turkey have mostly decreased except in the Marmara region where traders and mills are trying to keep their prices firm.

Today, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,492/mt ($437/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has also kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at 2,458/mt ($431 mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT. Meanwhile, market sources report that Turkish rebar mills are offering discounts of TRY 20-40/mt (including VAT) for serious buyers.
