Today, June 11, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have weakened by TRY 10-20/mt ($3-5/mt) to TRY 3,400-3,460/mt ($422-430/mt) ex-warehouse depending on the region.Sellers in the Izmir region have kept their rebar prices unchanged for now. Sources state that the stable trend observed in İzmir region is due to the lack of sales-pressure on traders.
Local mill Icdas has kept its rebar price at TRY 3,440/mt ($427/mt) ex-works, down $2/mt today. In addition, one mill in the Marmara region has kept its rebar price at $430/mt (TRY 3,460/mt) ex-works, keeping its US dollar price stable with just a minor change in the local currency.
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has also kept its rebar price at TRY 3,420/mt ($425/mt) ex-works, down by $2/mt on dollar basis today.
In the Iskenderun region, Koc Metalurji has increased its rebar price by TRY 20/mt($1/mt) to TRY 3,490 ($434/mt) ex-works as of today.
