Today, June 29, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have mostly risen by TRY 10-40/mt ($1-5/mt) from Thursday, June 26, to TRY 3,360-3,390/mt ($416-419/mt) ex-warehouse depending on the region. Only in the Iskenderun region have rebar prices dropped slightly.
Icdas has cut its rebar price by TRY 50/mt ($7/mt) to TRY 3,420/mt ($423/mt) ex-works compared to two weeks ago. Moreover, Marmara-based mills have also set their new rebar prices at TRY 3,395/mt ($420/mt) ex-works.
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has decreased its rebar price by TRY 70/mt ($8/mt) and set its new price at TRY 3,400/mt ($421/mt) ex-works and closed its rebar sales in the afternoon today.
Sources report approximately 30,000-35,000 mt of rebar have been traded in the Izmir region at TRY 3,350-3,355/mt ($414-415/mt) ex-works today.
