Local Turkish rebar prices move down slightly

Prices in the local Turkish rebar spot market have decreased due to the declines in scrap purchase prices and low demand for rebar in the domestic market. Meanwhile, today, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices standing at TRY 2,500/mt ($436/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices by at TRY 2,458/mt ($429/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
