Due to the weakness of demand in the local Turkish rebar market to which the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar has contributed, Turkish traders have reduced their domestic rebar prices slightly today, September 30.
Meantime, today, Turkish mill Icdas has reduced its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 42/mt to TRY 2,373/mt ($421/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 51/mt to TRY 2,339/mt ($415/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
