Both Turkish mills and traders have revised their domestic rebar prices upwards today, July 8, as a result of the rapid depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar.
Today, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik increased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 42/mt to TRY 2,712/mt ($473/mt) ex-works, while Icdas raised its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 50/mt to TRY 2,720/mt ($475/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
