Local Turkish rebar market makes a downward start to current week

Demand in the local Turkish rebar market is at low levels on the first working day of the current week, while buyers are adopting a cautious stance and are concluding deals only in line with their immediate needs amid the fluctuating trend of the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate. Additionally, it is observed that domestic rebar prices in Turkey have made a downward start to the current week due to the weakness of demand and lower scrap quotations.
