SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish merchant bar producers have increased their domestic prices due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. Accordingly, overall angle prices of Turkish mills have increased by TRY 70/mt on the lower end as compared to Monday, August 19, to TRY 2,720-2,890/mt ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT.
