Turkish merchant bar prices have fallen by TRY 25-100/mt in the local currency, while they have risen sharply on US dollar basis due to the rapid currency fluctuations and amid stronger scrap and billet prices. Merchant bar re-rollers are mainly offering for late January delivery, while limited stocks are only available from a few re-rollers.
Merchant bar prices are expected to be revised along with the scrap and billet price trend.
