Turkish domestic merchant bar prices have increased by $15-18/mt over the past two weeks. The main reasons for this uptrend are stronger scrap and billet prices, coupled with the lira exchange rate fluctuations seen over this period.
Most re-rollers are offering material for late October-early November deliveries due to the limited supply in certain product groups.
